Write content in your voice (or your company’s voice!)

Use this prompt

What this prompt can help you accomplish

This prompt is designed to generate content that aligns with a specific brand voice by analyzing and utilizing insights from previously written content. It is particularly useful for ensuring consistency and maintaining the unique style and tone of a brand across various content types, such as blogs and social media posts.

What content you'll need to provide

To achieve the best results, you should upload past written content that exemplifies the desired brand voice, such as blogs, social media posts, and other relevant documents. Replace [name of individual or company] with the name of your company or the individual responsible for the brand voice, [insert voice doc] with the specific voice document created from previous prompts, and [blog post] with the specific blog post you wish to rewrite using the established voice doc. Providing comprehensive and representative samples of your past content will enable the prompt to accurately capture and replicate the brand voice, ensuring the generated content is cohesive and on-brand.

Here's the prompt

Voice doc creation:

A "voice" document is a way to describe the writing style based on all the content here. When creating a "voice" document, use the concept of "over statements". An "over statement" is one good thing over another good thing. For example, if the content is humorous, the over statement might be "Humorous over Intellectual". Create a "voice" document using "over statements" in a Markdown table, with each row being a different "over statement" in bold in the first column, followed by a 100-word summary detailing why that over statement was chosen in the second column. In the third column, give an example from the body of work to support the conclusion in column one.

Write a blog post in a desired voice

This is the [name of individual or company] voice: [insert voice doc]. Next you will write a blog post content I share in the "[name of individual or company] voice". Respond with "I am ready to re-write in the [name of individual or company]  voice."

Rewrite in your company or brand’s voice

This is the [name of individual or company] voice: [insert voice doc]. Next you will write a Facebook caption on the blog post I will share below in the "[name of individual or company] voice". Respond with "I am ready to re-write in the [name of individual or company]  voice." This is the blog post: [blog post]
