Compare job candidates for a specific role

What this prompt can help you accomplish

This prompt is designed to assist HR leads and recruiters in assessing candidates for a job by extracting valuable insights and generating tailored content from recruiter files, such as applicant resumes and job descriptions. It is particularly useful for comparing job candidates, crafting targeted interview questions, and aligning candidate qualifications with the company's needs, ultimately guiding you on how to choose the right candidate for the job.

What content you'll need to provide

To achieve the best results in evaluating candidates for a job, you should upload detailed recruiter files to your SmartChat™ account. This includes job descriptions, company descriptions, and candidate resumes. Customize the madlibs-style prompts by filling in the brackets with specific information: replace [POSITION] with the position the candidates are applying for, [COMPANY] with the name of the hiring company, [CANDIDATE_1] with the name of the first candidate, [CANDIDATE_2] with the name of the second candidate, and [INTERVIEWER] with the name of the interviewer. Providing thorough and accurately labeled files, along with specific details in the brackets, will enable the prompt to generate precise and effective insights tailored to your hiring needs, helping you effectively choose the right candidate for the job.

Here's the prompt

We are opening for the position of [POSITION] at [COMPANY]. Based on the job description and the uploaded resume files, do three different rankings of the candidates according to their experience, skills, and traits. Only include the top 3 candidates for each category in these rankings.

Create a table that compares the responses from [CANDIDATE_1] vs [CANDIDATE_2] around a consistent set of question asked by the interviewer, [INTERVIEWER].

For each row, list the question or topic in bold in column 1, list who had the better response in column 2, list why the answer was better in column 3, and in column 4 list the reason the other person's answer was worse
