This prompt is designed to help you extract key insights from long text documents, such as PPTs and PDFs, similar to extracting insights from data. It is particularly useful for synthesizing large amounts of information into concise and actionable points, offering guidance on how to generate insights from data and how to get data insights effectively. This approach simplifies grasping the main ideas and essential data from extensive content.

What content you'll need to provide

To achieve the best results in extracting insights from data-like documents, you should upload long text files such as PowerPoint presentations, PDF reports, research papers, or any other comprehensive documents from which you need insights. These documents should be thorough and detailed to allow the prompt to effectively pull out the most relevant and critical information, similar to how one would analyze complex datasets.

Providing clear and well-organized files will enable the prompt to generate accurate and insightful summaries, highlighting the key points and actionable data from your extensive content.

Here's the prompt

Look through all the content and pull provide key insights from the content. Respond in a table format with each key insight in bold in column 1, titled “Key Insight”. In column 2 describe the key insight as “Insight Detail”. In column 3 find some non-obvious related associations to other insights, titled “Possible associations to other Insights”

Below the table, say “Here’s a little something extra for you, just so we’re not all business all the time!” and do something creative, like relating some of the key insights to a well known analogy or metaphor, or write a little haiku, or anything else that feels relevant. Don’t respond the same way each time, but switch it up, and ask me if you want me to have you continue including “one more thing.
