Storytell Update: Introducing the Knowledge Panel + Bug Fixes

Hi users! For this weekly update I'm really excited to share a big feature we have just launched plus some bug fixes that we've implemented as per the feedback that we got from some of you. Let's dive in!

New Features

Knowledge Panel

One of our major advancements this week is the introduction of the Knowledge panel. The Knowledge panel is designed to offer users a more streamlined and comprehensive view of all the knowledge that powers their threads. When you click on any thread, a 'Knowledge' sub-item appears under the active tab, linking you directly to the corresponding knowledge tab. Here, we present a dual-section layout that separates the knowledge actively powering the thread from the supplementary knowledge resources. Why This Matters:

• Unified View: Enjoy a centralized location to access all relevant knowledge, dramatically improving the efficiency of your workflow.
• Enhanced Navigation: Navigate between the thread and its knowledge seamlessly, fostering a more intuitive user experience.

Deeplink Highlight Animation

We've refined our deeplink highlight animation based on user feedback. The new animation features a yellow fading effect that highlights linked content more effectively. This subtle yet impactful change ensures that you never miss important information and improves overall navigation within the platform.

Bug Fixes

Wrapping Text in Responses

We've addressed an issue where text without spaces in responses wasn't wrapping to a new line. This fix ensures that your responses are always displayed in a clean, readable format, enhancing the overall readability of your communications.

Sign Out Menu Under Button Fix

We've corrected an issue where the sign-out menu was appearing under the upload button. This menu now appears in its intended location, ensuring a smoother and more intuitive user experience.

File Type Text Overlap Fix

We've resolved an issue where file type text was overlapping with file names in the Knowledge Panel, particularly noticeable with certain file types like PowerPoint presentations. We've adjusted how we retrieve and display this data, improving the clarity and usability of the Knowledge Panel.
