Storytell Update: Deep Linking in Threads Plus Future Updates

Hi everyone, Aaron here with your weekly update on the latest improvements to the Storytell platform. In this update we have one feature shipped but I want to share with all of you some of the updates coming to Storytell very soon. Let's dive into the details.

Deep Linking in Threads

We've added the ability for users to link directly to specific responses within a thread. Now when you click the "Link to this response" option in the share menu, it will generate a URL that takes you right to the selected message, with that part highlighted. This makes it much more convenient to share and reference key pieces of information from long threads.

While this is a relatively small change, it has the potential to significantly improve collaboration and knowledge sharing on the platform. We'll continue to refine this feature based on user feedback.

Upcoming Updates

Centralized Knowledge Section

The new Knowledge tab provides a consolidated view of all the knowledge assets associated with a project. From this central location, users can easily sort, filter, and search for specific files by name or summary. Uploading new knowledge is also supported.

Currently, the Knowledge section allows you to see which assets are powering the current thread. In upcoming releases, we plan to add more granular controls like the ability to add/remove files from a thread directly, view detailed asset information, and manage keywords. Our goal is to make the Knowledge section a powerful tool for organizing and leveraging your team's collective knowledge.
