In our latest product update and feedback session (the first for 2025!), we explored enhancing CSV and PDF uploads and improving web scraping. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s new and what’s next.
We’ve made it easier to stay updated on what’s new in Storytell. Our changelog now provides detailed information about feature releases and updates in real-time. The changelog is accessible via our documentation, with clear explanations of what’s been shipped, when it was shipped, and how it works.
We’ve made it easier to analyze your CSV data by turning the first 1,000 rows into readable sentences through Story Tiles™. This helps large language models (LLMs) make sense of your data.
Users flagged some challenges with multi-line headers and complex CSVs. We’re working to better handle these edge cases and are exploring support for up to 10,000 rows.
PDFs are integral to many workflows, and we know this feature needs to be rock-solid. Some uploads are failing, particularly those with graphs or images. Our engineering team is working hard to solve this issue.
You can now upload content from a website by pasting its URL into Storytell. While this is a big step forward, we know there’s more to do.
We’re developing features to handle deeper scraping, auto-updates for changing pages, and version tracking.
We also previewed several features coming soon:
Users asked about creating presentations directly from Storytell data, and we’re already working on it. This will be a game-changer for anyone building reports or sharing insights with stakeholders.
