We're improving Collections based on your feedback

In our most recent Product Demo Call, our engineers gave updates on what they've been working on, specifically:

• Updates to Storytell Collections
• Possible features of Dynamic SmartChats
• Discussions on Storytell's navigation and scalability

We're aiming for an alpha release of these features by November 19th so everyone can get their hands-on experience and give their feedback.

Storytell Collections

Similar to how tags and groups work in our original SmartChat™ platform, Storytell Collections is designed to ultimately help you manage and categorize files and interact with specific subsets of information. Think being able to create separate spaces for different clients, projects, teams, or content types! Here are some key points from the demo:

• Collections can be nested
• Collections will have access control and collaboration within teams of projects
  • Access controls include private, shared, and company-wide option

Future of Dynamic SmartChats

We previously introduced Dynamic SmartChats in this post. Dynamic SmartChat is a feature coming shortly after the release of Collections where:

• Users will be able to "pin" prompts to generate auto-updating data
• Define standard questions that will apply to multiple collections
• Have an option to set up notifications for changes in answers

Improvements on the Collections Sidebar

We asked y'all what you thought about the navigation and overall experience with our Collections mockups. We highlighted some key points that were discussed like:

• Simplifying the categorization of collections (private, shared, company-wide)
• Exploring different ways to visually represent access levels
• Consideration of scalability for large numbers of collections
