In our recent product feedback session, March 13th, we demoed several personalization capabilities we are working on, designed to make your Storytell experience smoother, more adaptable, and better suited to the way you work. This includes improvements to onboarding, AI settings, memory, and knowledge sharing.

Get started faster with personalized onboarding

We want to make sure you can jump right in and get the most out of our features once you join the platform. You can soon set your AI experience level—beginner, intermediate, or advanced—and the system will adjust to match your needs.

• More guidance when you need it, less when you don’t. The system will suggest prompts and make adjustments based on your selected experience level.
• Full control at any time. If you want to change your level, you can do it instantly—no waiting for the system to adapt.

Set AI instructions that match your workflow

We’re giving you more ways to personalize how AI interacts with you. With custom instructions and the capacity to select your preferred AI models for the model router, you can tailor responses to fit your specific needs.

• Pre-loaded instructions: Choose templates for different tasks like content creation or data analysis.

• Fine-tune AI responses: Set preferences like “always respond in Markdown” or “keep answers concise.”
• Smarter model selection: Our system routes your tasks to the best AI model (Gemini, Claude, OpenAI) for optimal performance by default. This update will allow you to easily select the model you want to use for your queries. 

This means you get results that better align with your work without extra manual tweaking.

AI that remembers what matters

We’re improving AI memory and knowledge sharing to keep your team aligned and up to date.

• Story Tiles™ for key insights: AI captures and updates important information so your organization stays on the same page.
• Automatic updates: When new data is added (like a competitor’s press release), the system will update relevant concepts and alert those who need to know.
• Star important insights: You can manually mark key takeaways in chats to refine AI understanding.

Customize your experience

We’re making it easier for you to personalize your workspace with:

• Custom avatars and display names
• Dyslexic-friendly font options
• Adjustable screen and font sizes
• Controls for feature highlights when new updates roll out

Soon, you can shape the interface to match your preferences.

More control for teams and organizations

If you're managing a team, you’ll have expanded admin settings, including:

• User and team management: Invite members, assign roles, and control access.

• Domain-based onboarding: Auto-add users with verified email domains.
• AI model permissions: Restrict specific AI models (like DeepSeek) to control data flow.

• Workspaces for better organization: Create dedicated spaces for teams and projects with structured permissions.
