What we discussed:

Document Management: Labels, Permissions, and Projects

One of the key changes in the new version is the addition of labels. By assigning labels to documents, it becomes easy to reference and manage permissions for Collections of documents in chats.

• Teams and Permissions: You can add users to teams and grant access to specific labels. This allows for shared access to documents across different teams, such as sales and marketing, ensuring everyone has access to relevant information.
• Projects: For continuous engagement with a scope of knowledge, projects act as containers for individual documents or labels. This eliminates the need to recreate data containers repeatedly, making it easier to manage multiple chats related to a specific marketing campaign.
• Organizational Taxonomy: To prevent "label soup," organization admins can create shared labels that work for everyone while still allowing individual users to create ad-hoc labels for their tasks.

Content Sharing and Integrations

Content sharing and integrations are crucial for low-friction knowledge integration:

• Sharing with Partners: Share content with select partners, such as external marketing agencies, by granting access to specific domains. Set default visibility for your content, whether it's private or public.
• Integration Options: Integrate Story with various systems like GitHub and Slack to bring code, tickets, and customer feedback into Story. This helps in digesting and leveraging insights effectively.

Personal Storytelling: Tailoring the Experience

Personal storytelling is at the heart of this update:

• User Profile Customization: Customize your profile by choosing light or dark mode, changing fonts (like the Dyslexie font), and more.
• AI Experience Settings: Tune the AI experience based on your familiarity with the platform and AI in general. Advanced users can opt out of additional guidance, while beginners can benefit from enhanced prompts.
• Personalized Instructions: Provide instructions to the model (regardless of whether it's in prompt, Gemini, or Deep Seek) to ensure it replies in your preferred format, such as Markdown. Personalize instructions for different tasks, such as content creation or programming.

Organization Management

Managing your organization is now more streamlined:

• Team Members: Invite new users via email and manage existing users by changing their access or offboarding them.
• Domains: Register one or more domains to automatically grant access to users with those email addresses. Organize users into teams and grant access to specific labels.
