About the role
We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our team and contribute to both the frontend and backend development. In this role, you will have the opportunity to craft delightful web interfaces, design new experiences, and implement robust backend systems that power our applications. You'll collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build, iterate, and ship new features that enhance the user experience and drive the success of our business.
A brief overview of what success looks like in this role:
- In 1 month: You'll become familiar with our codebase, tools, and processes. You'll have shipped a small feature or bug fix, actively participated in code reviews, and started contributing to both frontend and backend tasks.
- In 3 months: You'll take ownership of larger features, collaborating effectively with the team. You'll demonstrate proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies, contributing to the design and implementation of new features. You'll also start participating in on-call rotations, ensuring the stability of our systems.
In 6 months: You'll be a fully integrated member of the team, independently driving projects from design to deployment. You'll be comfortable working across the full stack, troubleshooting complex issues, and contributing to architectural decisions. You'll also be mentoring other engineers and actively participating in the continuous improvement of our engineering practices.

- Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces and components using TypeScript, SolidJS, CSS, and HTML
- Collaborate on design decisions, ensuring accessibility and a consistent user experience
- Implement features while advocating for UX best practices
- Write unit and functional tests to ensure the quality of the frontend code
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with APIs and backend services
Backend:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Go (Golang)
- Build scalable and performant backend services to support the frontend and other applications
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of the backend code
- Deploy and operate the code you write, following a "run what you write" philosophy
- Monitor and troubleshoot backend systems to ensure optimal performance and availability
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to design APIs that are easy to use and understand
General:
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other engineers
- Contribute to the improvement of engineering standards, tooling, and processes
- Conduct periodic on-call duties to ensure the stability and availability of our systems
- Work effectively in a remote-first environment, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills
Requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development
- Proficiency in TypeScript, SolidJS, CSS, HTML, and Go (Golang)
- Experience with cloud platforms, ideally GCP
- Understanding of performance, security, and user interactions within complex systems
- Passion for building delightful and accessible user experiences
- You love to build delightful and accessible user experiences using web technologies
