If the Chrome Extension is activated and it won't run on the content you're viewing, see below for reasons why:
1. Compatibility issues: The Storytell Chrome extension may not be able to run on your content:
Here is the list of the content Storytell currently does not support:
Non-hosted PDFs (the PDF would have to be hosted by a website like this one which is hosted by careshelter.org. We can't view PDFs you have saved on your computer at this time because it is technically not a website, so the Chrome extension can't access it. )
Images
Google Docs
Google Spreadsheet
YouTube videos without closed captions
But, here are some workarounds for you!

Here's how you can run the Storytell Chrome extension on Zoom recordings.
2. Outdated extension: Update your Chrome browser to ensure you are running the latest version of the Storytell Chrome extension.
3. Browser issues: The Storytell Chrome extension may not be able to run on your browser.
4. Content restrictions: The content you are trying to run the extension on may have restrictions that prevent the extension from running, such as a paywall or privacy restrictions.
5. Installation issues: The Storytell Chrome extension may not have been installed correctly. Here's how to install it.

I see that Google Docs is unsupported but no info re: is it on the development plan at all? Any time soon? BTW I use a simple hack to run Storytell on a google doc. I simply create a new blogpost or page on my WP site and paste in the copy from the doc.
